Wait 4 Your Mate is a community-oriented program promoting sexual abstinence until marriage.
Program components:
- 5-10 day curriculum for students in grades 7-12 (typically offered through school health classes)
- 2 hour workshops for parents on Raising Abstinent Teens
- Monthly eNewsletter for students
- Email updates for parents
This program made the risks more real, instead of facts presented to us. We know that there are risks but this was a good opportunity to hear the reality.
